Perform a variety of tasks in the receipt, storage, preparation, repackaging, issuing, and delivery of supplies. Assists in the preparation of standard solutions and maintains records. Must be eligible for transfer/reassignment or reachable on the current Civil Service list or for provisional hire. Must have a High School or equivalency diploma and 1 year experience assisting with the filling of medical prescriptions, or pharmacy tech certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), or certification/diploma from a pharmacy tech training program accredited by the American Society of Health System Pharmacist. $34990 to $43236 per year. diadre.poccia@doccs.ny.gov

Scrub and clean showers and lavatories. Replace light bulbs, and dust/wash light fixtures and high places. Change curtains and drapes, and hang pictures and other objects. Clean and disinfect public areas, lounges, halls and weight rooms. Move furniture and equipment. Serve a role within the Incident Command System to support the department’s response to emergency situations.
