Licensed practical nurse. Administer medications; observe residents and report changes in their condition; take and record temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure; and obtain specimens for analysis. Prepare and apply simple dressings; bathe and feed residents; and care for residents and their quarters by performing such tasks as making beds, changing linen, lifting and moving residents and caring for their personal effects. Must be current NYS employee and eligible to transfer under Section 70.1 or 70.4 of the Civil Service Law. Long-term care experience is preferred. $44476 to $53310 per year.

Highway maintenance worker
Highway maintenance worker. Perform routine manual tasks requiring medium to heavy physical effort involving exposure to all kinds of weather conditions. Will be expected to operate plows during winter operations and to obtain the equipment certifications listed above. Heavy duty trucks, vans, suburban’s, station wagons and other commercial vehicles. Check controlled and preventive maintenance programs, driver’s hours of labor records and facility of fleet operators. Investigate complaints, accidents and illegal operations; testify at hearing; keep records and submitted reports of inspections and investigations. Enforce driver, vehicle and hazardous material regulations. Must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list or be eligible for reassignment, transfer or re-instatement in accordance with Civil Service Law.
